Answers to some frequently asked questions
I want to order but don't want to put my credit card info online
Our site is secure and is actually safer then a phone order! However you can
choose to use PayPal or send in a check. Any and all orders must still be placed
online to guarantee your item, and so you can obtain an order number. So please fill
up a cart, then check out and choose PayPal or mail in a check for your payment. You can print
the order invoice screen to send to us with your check.
I don't know what color chart to look at and I don't know what these color numbers mean
Each wig brand has a color chart, and a clickable link to the proper color chart for each item
is supplied under the wig picture. Clicking the "Color Chart" link under the picture
will pull up a new window for you, so be sure you do not have a pop up
blocker enabled. Each color box will have a color # or name next to it. Choose
your color, remember the # or name, then go back to the wig page and select the
color you want from the pull-down color option box. If another color will work as
well, choose an alternate color, in case the first choice is out.
My credit card continues to be declined
When you enter an address other than the address your credit card bill goes to for the bill-to section on the order form, your card will decline. Be sure to enter the exact street address and zipped your bill goes to. Your card will also decline if your 3 digit code is incorrect
(4 digits for Amex).
Please note, each order placed for delivery to an address other than the bill-to address or an address other than the cardholder's, is closely examined prior to approval of the order.

You will be given the opportunity to add express shipping for qualifying items when you check out.
How do I send a hair sample with my order?
Cut a piece of the hair to be matched at least ˝ inch wide
and 1 - 2 inches long.
Enough hair must be in the sample to be able to determine
its actual color.
To match a hairpiece or hair extension to your own color:
Cut the hair sample in the area where your own hair blends
naturally into the point of where the hairpiece or hair
extension begins. Remember for add-on wigs you want to
match the base of your hair, not the ends.
To match a wig to your own hair color: Cut the piece of
hair from an area that best represents your over-all hair
color. This area is usually in the upper layers, on the outer
ends of your hair. YOU WOULD NOT FIND your best over-all
color match, for example, at the hairline on your neck
(nape). This area is usually darker in color than your
over-all hair color.
Complete your online order with a payment type of "Check/Money Order". Print a copy of the invoice that is emailed to you. Tape the hair sample to your order form, and mail with your credit card information or payment to us at: International Wig® 2305 Ashland St. Suite C-260 Ashland, OR 97520
USA
Phone 800-344-4999 We accept hair samples with orders that are paid for with a check or
money order, but not a credit card - you need to mail the order
in.
Will the word "Wig" appear anywhere on the package I receive?
Every order ships out from us with our address and the name of IWC. All parcels are plain wrapped & discreet. International custom forms read "Cranial Proth" or "Accessory" and never say "Wig"!
Wig Cap Features
Regular Cap - There are no open areas in the cap material.

Capless - 20% to 75% of the cap is open. This makes the cap lighter and cooler to wear. It has more elastic for a comfortable fit.

Full Capless - More than 90% of the cap is open, for the ultimate in weaving.

Artificial Scalp Tops - Some wigs have artificial scalp tops to create a more natural look, and to allow more styling versatility. Hair on the artificial scalp comes out vertically, the same as natural hair growth, so the hair can be easily parted anywhere without seeing any of the cap material underneath. Artificial scalps come in a variety of types and sizes.
Monofilament Top - The best simulation of natural scalp hair growth. Fine groups of 2 to 4 hair fibers are hand tied onto a fine see-through mesh that allows both light and air to pass through. This allows the most comfortable and natural look.
Ultra fine mesh "monofilament" fabric (A. in picture below) takes on the appearance of your own natural skin tone. The single layer allows your own skin tone to show through for the most realistic look.

What is Hand Tying? - Hand tying is the careful process of manually knotting individual hair fibers onto the cap for a more natural look. This is usually done on parted areas and on the edge of the cap in order to hide cap material when the hair is pulled back.
